shyt was dope.

still rock "1 For Peedi", "I'm Ready" and "Roc Army" on the regular.

the advance is iller than the retail since it didn't have dj clue screaming over it.

who thought that was a good idea to have dj clue screaming on a soundtrack? fukkin dame. :stopitslime:

It's a nice throwback to a good period in music, but at the time...was just unfocused and all over the place..an excuse to release a bunch of misc Roc music, it was dope, well it had dope songs...but as a soundtrack to the movie? I maybe had too high expectations of a cohesive, theme soundtrack with Jay dropping introspective tracks in line with the movie...shyt was like a mixtape.

yeah CD 2 was basically a Roc-A-Fella mixtape, CD 1 was a regular "soundtrack" with a lot of classic hiphop/R&B cuts

who were these unknown cats though: Young Steph, Rick Vocals, Lil Red, Frankie, MAJ

Philly
bumping this right now...this compilation album is TF CRAZY :damn:

One for Peedi is my fav Philly song of all time :wow:

Champions introduced the world to Kanye as a rapper & Cam lowkey snapped on it :whoo:

Bout It Bout It was the perfect blend of up top and the dirty south :myman:

Home of Philly...a personal classic :youngsabo:

Santana the Great on I'm Ready is the song that made me really respect Dipset as a crew in 02

THIS IS FA'SHO A CLASSIC ALBUM...HOLLA :blessed:
