I definitely agree but I think the lifestyle of the old school guys killed them faster than the work. The guys now arent out there going ham on mad pills and they arent abusing roids. Plus a lot of matches back in the day guys were only taking one or two bumps in an entire match. Nowadays a LOT more is expected. You always hear about guys back then were beat up....so imagine how beat up the guys are now in comparison.

Might be just me though but I prefer the older style stuff. More gimmick matches, more fukkery, more of making it look like a real fight. I think not only would it be better for the biz but also would protect the guys more. What if they actually saved the big spots for PPVs instead of flipping over to the outside every night? Since they do that now they have to go even further on PPVs which is what leads to insane shyt like Noami sprinboard moonsaulting to the outside. When she did that I wasnt excited, i was scared man. They really are putting their careers on the line for pops on a regular basis.

I agree, that's why I always say that Jim Cornette's not 100% wrong about his distaste of flippy shyt and what it does to the business.

Guys do have to learn how to pace themselves.

The injuries are because this company has eliminated psychology outside the realm of the smash mouth main event style.
So things like wrestling sequences that could be used for story telling within the match would be effective. Instead of the accidental running into an item Change in match psychology of the smashmouth triple h variety. Since the son in law and his clique buddies can not do wrestling sequences. No one else can in the promotion and that is why this product get stagnant and also why these types of injuries occur consistently.

WWE Superstar Paige who suffered a head injury during WWE live event on Long Island last month will reportedly not be a part of the first ever women’s rumble as she won’t be cleared in time, according to PWInsider.

After being injured the match was immediately stopped and a stretcher was brought out but Paige did walk out on her own.

The injury is worse than thought and as of right now she won’t be in the women’s rumble unless somehow she gets cleared before that time.
