panasonic st/gt/vt series vs samsung 8000 series

I was convinced I wanted an led 240hz tv.... till I saw the latest gen plasmas. Plasmas are shytting on the led's that are out till oled hits the market..

Right now im leaning towards the 55 inch panasonic stv50.... cnet has it as the best price/picture value for 2012 tvs... but I did put a deposit on the samsung 64 inch 8000 series... its like 1k extra, and has lower reviews, but is capable of handling samsungs "evolution" adapter... for an added cost.

Anyone have experience with this segment?

Go with the GT series. I better overall quality and still not as expensive as the VT

I was lookin at em and said st > vt > gt for picture quality/price... the spot had gts about 300 less than the vt

Yea the ST and GT have similar panels and processing
I seen both in stores and yet the GT always look better imo.
