Here you have two vultures who get to eat off black American Hip Hop culture while claiming to be rooted elsewhere (Drake is a Canadian half-Jew, Nicki is a Trinidad immigrant) Both claim to have an immaculate pen game, Drake claims to be the King and Nicki the Queen of rap. However, when their feet is put to the fire by nikkas actually rooted in this shyt (Pusha is a black American male from VA beach, Remy a black American woman from the Bronx) they can’t handle the pressure. Nicki ran to IG posting pics of herself and Beyoncé while Drake issued a press release. I know for a fact Nicki had people behind the scenes activiely withhold opportunities from Remy and Drake gets an “OG pass” out of the clear blue sky. Both “Shether” and “Adidon” are both potent, scathing disses that easily exposed two corporate brands that have claimed to be about that life. But once they get into the ring with a formidable opponent, they stay hiding behind the referee.
