The Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips (R 50s NHC) are a predominately African-American street gang from the westside of South Los Angeles, California. They are located between Vermont and Western Avenues in the east and west, from Slauson Avenue in the south to54th Street in the north. During the 1980s the gang in this area was known as the "55 Hustler Crips" occupying the same area. During the early 1990s, they changed their name to 55 Neighbor Hood Crips and then shortly thereafter two other Neighbor Hood Crip factions emerged; the 57 Neighbor Hood Crips and 58 Neighbor Hood Crips. The three factions are now under the Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips identity and are aligned with all Neighbor Hood Cripsets throughout Los Angeles as well as the 87 Gangster Crips and 97 Gangster Crips (they share a hatred for the Hoover Criminals). Other rivals include the Van Ness Gangster Brims, Harvard Park Brims, Fruit Town Brims, Black P. Stones,52 Hoover Gangster Crips, 59 Hoover Criminals Gang, 51 Trouble Gangster Crips, 52 Broadway Gangster Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips.
