So me and the wife are in the market for a house and since we just had a kid school districts will play a part in our decision. Well what im noticing is when you look online at school rankings or get involved in general discussions the ranking of the schools seems to always circle around to the demographics, aka how many black people are at the school. You can look at school ranking websites online and with some pretty damn high accuracy tell the demographics of any part of the city just by looking at the rankings of the schools in that area.

The high school i went to is rated as one of the worst in the county and since i actually went there i know the only reason it would be rated that low is because it was predominantly black. SO how do you determine if a school is legit bad or if its only being rated poorly because its a mixed or black school?

Us news releases national rankings every year

Also each state typically releases rankings based on standardized testing, grad rates, student:teacher ratios etc.

If you have a specific area/district in mind play around on google and you should be able to find good info.

Research it seriously, look up school ratings, crime in the area, if there are any sex offenders in that area too. Find out as much as you can about the school and the neighborhoods and if you gotta google the teachers and facebook stalk. Its your kids breh, got to be thorough with this shyt.
