Social media should be completely avoided Until the age of 27 imo. Thats when the human brain is fully developed (the mid to late 20s.)
Before the age of 25 your brain is still growing, you’re still a kid mentally and spiritually. You are easily influenced and impulsive.
Actual grown adults are depressed because they can’t sort reality from fiction on there, they feel that they can’t measure to social media standards. So imagine kids in their formative years….

The real world, reality in general will be unappealing to them.
Btw InstaGram is fake flexing paradise. You would think Every man and woman there is handsome, is tall, is popular, is clouted up, is never lonely, has a perfect body, is beautiful and rich with plenty of free time to party and travel to exotic and tropical places.
Yet people are just faking it. They only post the best moments, the highlights of their lives. They never post the behind the scenes, the dreary routine of their lives. Their losses. They only post their wins and if you spend enough time on it, you subconsciously believe you’re a loser and you’ve never accomplished shyt at your age while your peers are big pimpin it on a yacht with bad bytches and driving the latest coupes. They won’t tell you that the bytches, the cars and the yacht were all rented for flexing purposes, to create content for ig. The whole thing is just a virtual Ponzi scheme.

Why is that?
Kids need to be outside playing and getting fresh air. Or reading a book. Hanging out with firends. Going for bike rides. Playing sports. Conversing with their elders. All of that is much more healthier than sitting in front of a tv or computer playing Final Fantasy or some other bullshyt for hours on in.

Agreed! The preteen/teenage years are vital to the development of a child into an adult. For many, its where they start building their first real social connections outside of the home. Its when they first start developing their social skills, etc.

I was in aol chats at way too young of an age. Modded forums when I was 13. But with how easy the internet has become to access, I'm not mad at this. I had time to decompress, go outside, and hide all my nerdy shyt online while I hung out with my irl friends. Kids have access to all of that shyt directly from their phone. They don't need friends in the real world because they have access to all the people they talk to online.
