A small-time actor has been charged with vandalizing a statue of George Floyd in New York City.

The New York City Police Department’s Hate Crimes Division announced the arrest of 37-year-old Micah Beals on Twitter Monday. Beals has been charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.

The NYPD reportedly identified Beals from a video of the vandalism, showing a white man with a skateboard throwing silver paint on the statue.

I hate when articles do that. I'm sure he was on Parks & Rec for all of 5 minutes.:stopitslime:
Dude probably walked across the screen in the back ground in an outside shot.

The news has an annoying habit of overhyping an individual to sell a story. They do this with "rappers" all the time.

Forced to do community service in all urban areas

No he shouldn't. Community service isn't a punishment. Working in an urban area isn't a punishment. He should be punished but being forced to work in urban areas or with urban people shouldn't be apart of that. The issue isn't with urban people or urban areas make the dude do something else unfavorable.
