I know everyone needs to getaway sometimes and want to dress nicely, but if you're living situation is horrid, you shouldn't be spending thousands on a vacations and wardrobe is crazy. I understand taking a little 2 to 6 hour drive to a nearby city, maybe staying with a friend or family. Just to getaway for a couple of days. Not going to cost you too much. That's cool. But dropping 1000s just to getaway a few days it just flat out dumb. Stack up your money, get your home and transportation right, then take trips.

there were some threads last year about people using credit cards to travel, shoes, clothes
big discussions were had on it
it was not really credit cards it was some new thing that everybody was doing
