Ok I'm going to make a thread about this since this has been the coli convo all week.
First off this is not a NY bash or eastcoast bash thread because I grew up on that era of music so some of my favorite rappers come from that region.. But thats part of the problem, NY been depending on the old rappers to keep them relevant I'm not saying Jay or Nas or whoever should retire but you dont see the OG''s from other regiions still acting like top rappers. Even Snoop work with a lot of the new westcost rappers and fell back so they could shine. I mean there has to be a passing of the guard at some point. I had to add this video from Mad Skillz yes that guy wss telling the truth
