Deputies watch party on live stream, bust 20 for drugs in Union
Union deputies say they got a tip on Saturday, January 30, of a live internet video feed showing a “Party” on Pine St. in the City of Union.
They say they noticed what appeared to be Marijuana and Cocaine on a table while several people were rapping, dancing, drinking alcohol and smoking.
They got a search warrant and went to the house.
They say several people on the front porch ran into the house and others behind the house where they were detained.
They searched the residence and the people there and found 211 grams of Marijuana, $2616 cash, and 9 handguns.
The following people were arrested and booked into the Union County Jail.
Deputies say each individual received 2 charges each, which were 1) Possession with intent to distribute marijuana and 2) Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana with ½ mile of a school (USC-Union).
Deputies say additional charges are pending for the firearms seized during the raid.
Sheriff Taylor says this is evidence of the continued drug dependency problem within Union County.
