These dudes are losers but I'd argue there are aspects of modern American culture that make the dating scene trash and these dudes are like spores that carry the bullshyt wherever they go. Men putting hoes on a pedestal and women being obsessed with buying bullshyt are connected. Hypermateralism, commodification under capitalism, empty people that use pleasure seeking to fill a void in their lives.

Even dudes that run through women contribute to the problem by lacking self control and general comradery with other men, which makes women believe they have power and leverage over men.
