All this anger at so-called passport bros, but they could have a "How Stella Got Her Grove Back - part 25" by now, and nobody would bat an eye. Can you imagine how many sisters got encouraged by that film 25 years ago. And Stella had a young buck. It didn't bother me because at least she had a brother. But in real life, they probably get smutted out by Europeans, Turkish, Italians, etc... as well, then probably settle in Europe if they have a good career.

Speaking of passports, mine arrived a few days ago. It only took 8 weeks. I don't plan on letting it expire this time. Need to start exploring some places overseas as well, just in case.

Honestly the high tide for Black American men and women looking to get married and settle in Europe was the 40s-90s. For women I think France was #1, Germany and the Netherlands vie for #2 and Italy and Nordics was #3. I know several Black American women happily married long time over there but most arrived there a while back.

Back then it happened a lot more especially with men or women in entertainment and modeling etc. Now between the Black immigrants and access to Brazil, DR, and Cuba there are options for Black companionship and though often Black Americans are seen as 'good Blacks' in contrast to here in the US, it is a crowded market. European marriage rates are also crashing like ours so younger people need to be ok with the whole 'partner' thing.

Top tier women that are 8+ still do well but they should do well in most places.

A lot of brothers who went overseas back in the day, are happily married as well, like my cousin, who stayed in Germany after he was stationed there. He's a popular jazz artist over there.
