We Are Penn State
Patrick Chambers has said hes tried everything to get students to attend home games in the past two seasons.
From giving out free T-shirts to personally handing out Big Macs at McDonalds, Chambers has certainly gone the extra mile to praise students who have expressed interest in the Penn State mens basketball program.
However, the second-year coach took these efforts to a new level Monday when he announced on State Colleges B94.5 radio station hell be donating $10 to THON for every student who attends Thursday nights 9 p.m. game against Iowa at the Bryce Jordan Center. Students will receive a pledge card upon entering the arena and with about five minutes remaining in the game, they will be collected to calculate Chambers total donation.
Hey, we might not have a B1G win, but Pat Chambers da gawd finna donate like 1/3 of his salary to children's cancer

And for those who aren't familiar with the cause, THON (Penn State Dance Marathon) is the largest student-run philanthropy in the country and it's going on all this weekend. Last year, we set a record with $10 million-plus raised, this year it's about to set a new record.
Why is this not national news, come on ESPN, this is CHARACTER
