Before this thread gets out of hand, Riley did say they were over him leaving. But clearly the games LeBron and his agent were running last summer rubbed him the wrong way.

I think thats what the whole comment is about. LeBron/his agent were communicating such things to Riley on personnel that the decision to leave did completely come out of nowhere.

Wouldn't call it a 50/50, a lot of people laughed at Cleveland fans and thought they were delusional about getting LeBron back

He was asked a question on how the approach would be different this summer and he answered. There wont be anymore smiling faces with hidden agendas because those parties arent a factor this go round.
