Let's get this clear, The Pats aren't scum for drafting Hernandez, they're scum for everything else they stand for and then drafting Hernandez and "managing his off the field issues" are just indicative of their scum like nature.

What's hilarious is they're acting like if we didn't take him he would have slipped out of the draft. As if we didn't pass over him earlier in the draft as well.
He would have gotten drafted like guys with character issues get drafted every year. The Patriots were obviously wary of him (like every other team), which is why they have him such an incentive laden contract with a lesser signing bonus than their 4th rounder from the previous year.

"Patriots Way" is a facade just like their supposed dynasty. Once the taping stopped the rings stopped. Now Brady's getting outplayed by Joe Flacco multiple times in the playoffs and they have produced some of the biggest let downs in NFL history since.
