Pau Gasol partial tear in his plantar fascia ,Expected to miss 6 weeks

Pau Gasol felt a pop in the bottom of his foot during the Los Angeles Lakers' 92-83 win at the Brooklyn Nets.

Gasol will have an MRI on Wednesday and the fear is that he tore his plantar fascia.

Gasol left the arena on crutches.

I have occasional issues with plantar fasciitis myself and that shyt can be painful enough. Can't imagine how it must feel to actually tear something down there

thats how it was for me. when i would get out of bed in the morn, couldn't even stand up. would sit there for like 15 mins sitting on the bed with my foot on the ground gettin used to weight being put on it. then i would get up, and limp around for like another 15 mins until i was able to walk around pain free. wouldn't feel nothin playin ball, but as soon as i was done and sat for a significant amount of time it would act up.

I have this ..got it playing flag football I was reading about it it's suppose to go away after a while but I've had it for at least 4 months now ....I might go in and see if I need surgery

It turns out Richard Hamilton tore his plantar fascia in his left foot late in the third quarter of the Bulls Saturday night win over the 76ers, according to Bulls sources.

But that’s sort of the good news.

Plantar fasciitis, the painful inflammation on the bottom of the foot, can last months. At times, treatment will include a tear so the healing can begin more quickly. Thus, this is not generally considered as serious an injury and Hamilton could play again in a week or two.

But, Pau is a big man though, so its probably gonna be worse for him, plus he been injured already this season too.

Noah missed a month with plantar fascitis and currently has it but a torn one means Gasol is done for the year shyt only heals with rest and treatment.
