Melo id better right now.
Id rather have PG, does a whole lot more, 6 years younger and on a rookie deal.

These threads set up to hate on Carmelo are so blatant and obvious lol. Pacers fans for life, but I can't wait till Melo gets a ring and quells all the noise. I believe he'll get it done.
Anyways, I'd take Paul George for the future. I believe he is better at everything already except offensive repetoire which he will work on. Superior athlete, more versatile, more willing to do the little things that matters, and he's showing himself to be quiet clutch. He's also much younger.
But RIGHT NOW I'd take Melo. PG has all time great potential IMO though.

I think Paul is the better player. Not a ball stopper, better rebounder, decision maker and a much better defender and passer.
paul george for basketball reasons, carmelo for sumo wrestling.

Yeah because while PG is a more complete player, he's turnover prone, needs to work on his handles, and is nowhere near Melo's offensive stratosphere. PG also has a superior team and superior help around him which probably makes him look a little better than he is.
PG will have the superior career IMO though. Like I said, I believe he has all time great potential. I love his game and believe he's the future of this team.
