Ainge is just a really really overrated GM.
He kept getting bailed out by ridiculous trades but now we can see he's doing absolutely nothing in Utah when no one wants to deal with him anymore.
The way he built Celtics Big 3 was that McHale was a Timberwolves GM that time around, which was his buddy, so he gifted KG for a weak ass package. Then there was a Sonics sabotage where clay bennet traded away his team to tank the arena audience so he could move that team to OKC, so Boston got Ray for a low price too. And there you have it.. He did nothing else to secure that franchise multiple titles.
Celtics were known for having a great front court whether it was a Bill Russell years, or the 80s Celtics, they had a strong big man lineup.
