It’s these type of comments right here in why NBA media content and talk is goofy as it is. Dudes want all the other shyt instead of analyst keeping attention on the game itself.

If you are going to Showtime for deep NBA analysis you already lost. I couldn't care less about the "deep analysis" in The Coli section because all it is are people parroting what they heard Zach Lowe say on a podcast. Everyone knows what the advanced statistics say. They are printed for your consumption. Most people rather talk around it and play to narratives.

Basically what I'm saying is the way Pierce was carrying on is really no different than the way the average coli poster acts on here.

There's a time and place and Showtime is not the place for any real deep analysis. It's about jokes. You don't watch Mase and Cam'Ron for analysis either.

Sports is just entertainment to a lot of folks, and they don't care to much for analytical breakdowns. Sports are an escape from the 9 to 5 bullshyt they deal with. To laugh, and unwind.

Just because Showtime didn't say anything publicly doesn't mean that they didn't say something behind the scenes.
