He's correct. No diss to women but peace is not something women are capable of offering a man.

Because he's clearly talking about the concept of a relationship and living with a woman. Which...he's not wrong about lol unless you're one of the many emotional lovey dovey dudes who's doesnt like addressing these concepts because it ruins the "fantasy".
If you're doing your hobbies less, seeing friends less, have less control of your space etc...then that isn't...peace.

What is Paul Pierce track record with women he hasn't paid for? He doesnt have a successful track record of being in relationships with high quality women. The only reason anyone would qualify his advice as valid is because of confirmation bias.
If youre in a committed relationship and you expect the other person to contribute then you have to contribute, which means you have less time to do all those other things you mentioned. Thats how healthy relationships work. Boys pick birds then get bitter and start making blanket statements.

Yeah, I dont care about his history. Im saying theres truth to what he's saying. Giving up any of those things for some sort of...romantic emotion? Is fundamentally odd IMO. And yes, im in a 4 year relationship that is "healthy". I can still compartmentalize and say love as a concept is up there with religion, and humans tend to want pets, kids, and relationships at a sacrifice of their interests, autonomy and friendships (sometimes they didnt have much of the former and are filling in voids).
But then again im also the type that sees no logical reason to make my life more complicated by having a kid or a pet. It's just more work; and the only pay off people trade the work for is some sort of...emotion that I dont seek nor need. Whereas your normie dude would probably feel some sort of offense about me saying that, can't comprehend it at all, and lash out at my character for it lol blows their mind im in a normal long term relationship also. Because Im supposed to not break 4th walls and sip the koolaid I guess.

Nah my chick is pretty overly commital but...the "cute" shyt that alot of couples ignore is actually kind of non peaceful to me.
I.E. the moment she kinda wants you to stop playing say...a game. Even kindly. Isnt an aspect of life I'd have to cater to if she was gone lmao or when friends want to go to a place, and I have to navigate her wanting to go to another place...is not an aspect of life I'd have to cater to. Going to bed at similar times, because its generally healtheir to do so...is not a concept I'd have to cater to.
I feel the same way about dogs though....I like not having to cater to some other...being and suddenly give it a walk, thats annoying. Apparently alot of humabs need the companionship or something and they are willing to make their lives harder in exchange for it but...not me lol
But im a sick motherfukker that cab say allll the shyt I just said and have that relationship or dog being better taken care of than the people who post all over social media about their "love". Compartmentalization. What goes on in my head, isnt always how I treat people.
