But knowing Mcgregor, dude is going to kick and grab just to embarrass Paulie more. He's not going to stand and trade unless he knows he got the advantage. Paulie is a technical boxer and that doesnt work to well in the octagon without the skils to avoid takedowns or power to stun quickly
LOL dudes act like it requires 10 years of training to learn how to avoid takedowns,its called simply moving ur damn feet and balancing ur weight...This whole thing with getting taken down is overrated in this sport,a limited few of them can finish fights on the mat,most just roll around trying to maintain position.

Its definitely gonna take more than 2-3 months of training camp, be realistic.
Yeah you can learn to move your feet (which is what I always said about boxers if they get in a cage) but some of these cats have developed decades of habits especially up close.
And thats not even mentioning the leg kicks.
Not saying Paulie would be assed out, but idk about him being good enough at his age to jump in the cage and avoid shyt like kicks and takedowns and have the power to keep cats off him. I dont even think he has the reflex time to do so anymore..
Someone like Keith Thurman I would say hell yeah to beating most mma fighters his size. But why would he when he makes bigger money in boxing?
Paulie would fall into the trap of washed boxers going to MMA I think
