Pop singer Bebe Rexha had to be taken to the hospital after an audience member threw a phone at her during a concert, the New York Police Department confirmed in a statement to USA TODAY Monday.

Rexha "was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition," police said.

Nicolas Malvagna, a 27-year-old man from New Jersey, has been arrested and charged with assault, the statement added.

I don’t understand this newfound concert trend of throwing your damn phone on stage in hopes of the singer taking a phot and…..returning it? Like, whats the end game here?

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
If it had to happen, it's a good thing it happened live.

It's Country music.

Otherwise she have to post she "fell."

Which of course would lead to a series of questions that would be answered, "Y'all don't know him like I know him! I can change him! We love each other!"

So I read up on her.

Turns out she's an outspoken supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.

Again, it's Country music.
.
So yeah

And in a few minutes it'll be about the LGBTQ+ community and their persecution in 5...4...3...

You won't even remember her name.

The country stereotype of men beating their wives in the first part.

In the second, I'm suggesting someone in her Country music audience threw a phone at her because she's outspoken about LGBTQ+ rights.

I'm also saying the LGBTQ+ community will make it about them to a point you'll forget how the conversation even started.
