Mental illnesses like schizophrenia can lay dormant and all of a sudden pop up out of nowhere during stressful moments.
Could be a mental illness or she coulda just been high on schrooms getting her back blown out.
The fact that her family issues the missing persons report so early makes me assume she has a history of mental illness tho (which the public and her employer wouldn't know anything about understandably since it's none of their business)
