Their backcourt is too small, it's like the Curry / Ellis pairing, neither guy is really good defensively so you need all these dirty work players around them sort of like how the Warriors tried to build around Curry/Ellis until they realized one of them had to go.

I've never been that high on the pairing, and all those shytty contracts made it worse by limiting flexibility.
