PC heads: my temp folder keeps filling up with backups of my external HD

Hey guys, ive scoured the internet for a fix for this but cant find ANYTHING.

I have an external harddrive filled with zip files of my beats and everytime i plug it into my pc, my pc starts creating backups of EVERY file on the drive and puts them into my temp folder.

Everyday I open up the folder and hundreds of backups are being created leaving me with 0 space every few moments.

How would I identify the process that is doing this? shyts confusing as fukk going through teh services list but I need to figure something out.

I'd appreciate the colibrehs help... Thank you.

Go to Computer Management
Right Click Disk Drives
Open the properties of that drive
Under Policies, is it set to Quick Removal?

Do you have your HD software?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling w/ driver updates
