I want to get back to gaming and thinking of buying either PC or PS4 (fukk Xbox). I was mainly a PC guy in the past. This is for GTA5, which I know will be coming this fall to these systems. I also know PC has a lot of dope indie games. :mjpls:

What should I buy?

Invest in a pc imo you can do more with it. You could build a ps4 strenght for like 350$ max. Also steam is pretty dope compared to the game prices steam is a heaven send getting games for almsot nothing.

Bruh, if you had to make a thread so some random person from anywhere in the world could make this decision for you?

Man, please get a PS4. We don't take kindly to followers on the greener side :camby:

I read about what's going on with PC hardware today. Is GTX 770 the optimal money/quality investment? Or is 780 worth it?

I have a pc with a 780 ti and a rig with a 280x both have a lot of horse power. If you doing gaming at 1080p a 770 is perfect. But its hard to suggest a 770 at this stage in its life while still a good card I know soon the 800 series cards have to be coming out which promise to be cheaper. How much would you be willing to spend on a gaming build?

im gonna build a pc. was gonna get a ps4 but these next gen systems are terrible. id rather spend a little more and get the most out of games. playing games on a pc vs a console is embarrassing.

the only thing is most of my friends play consoles. thats mostly why i play games... i might get a ps4 too :patrice:

You know what your looking for? For a 1k bugdet I could whip up something nice on parts picker.
I am not from the US. Here is what I am looking at currently:

Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz (TB up to 3.8GHz) 6Mb 2xDDR3-1600 HDGraphics4600 TDP-84w LGA1150 OEM
PCI-E Asus GeForce GTX 770 DirectCU II 2048MB 256bit GDDR5 [GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5] DVI HDMI DisplayPort
ASUS LGA1150 B85-PLUS B85 4xDDR3-1600 2xPCI-Ex(16+4) DVI/DSub 8ch 2xSATA 4xSATA3 4xUSB3 GLAN ATX
DIMM DDR3 8192MB PC12800 1600MHz Kingston HyperX CL10-10-10 [KHX1600C10D3B1/8G] Retail
Corsair CX 600W (80+, ATX v2.3, Active PFC, 120mm Fan, Ret.) [CMPSU-600CXV2EU]/[CP-9020048-EU]
SATA-3 1Tb Seagate 7200 Barracuda [ST1000DM003] Cache 64MB
Miditower ATX ZALMAN Z9 Plus

$1044

I think the pricing is much lower in the US, but I would welcome some suggestions regarding this build.

At first glance I was looking at that likebwhile its a good build it may be cheaper but seen you post your not from here so I understand the cost. Go for it man this build will hold you down for awhile.
