Joe Paterno knew kids were being abused since the late 1970s. And he did nothing about it.
He's a scumbag and if Penn State had any dignity they would erase him from their history.

This guy ruined the lives of innocent children forever with his inaction.
They should honor Michael Vick for his political efforts to make up for his dog fighting past, before than honor a piece of shyt like Joe Paterno who made no efforts to correct his wrongs.

No, he should not be honored at all. I know he's a beloved figure in Penn State but the fact of the matter is, he knowingly let Sandusky be alone with children/teens. If you don't want to admonish him fine, but he deserves no accolades either.
