Nah, them and the Egpytians been scheming on us for ages now. They got the support necessary for that move. Got Ethiopian politics sound like a bunch of tribal racism, Muslims suddenly want to be on some salafist bullshyt.
The Egyptians are under very dire economic constraints, they can't finance groups to make discord in Ethiopia because of the politics with the Nile
Sudan is also pissed with Egypt with regards to the Nile as well

They prolly spending they funding on future subversion projects within Ethiopia so they get that Nile hegemony they always wanted since the Pharaohs. I don't trust Sudan, but they should be on our side cuz they'd get way more electricity from our dam than from any bullshyt Egypt offers them.
It's no telling. Major tribes have their own "states" so they may either form their own shyt or try to link with others of their tribe beyond their borders like the Afars, Gambellas, hell maybe the Tigrays will attack Eritrea in order to unify with the other Tigrays.
