A breh i knew 5 years ago just called me from an unknown number. Talking bout he need a favor, mid sentence he said his mother is calling and he'll hit me back.

He calls back 5 minutes later talking bout he just totaled his mothers car, and she recently passed. A tow is 150 but he only has 120i honestly got all my checks budgeted out till May, so i aint got it

I hang up and it hit me, that he initially got off the phone bc his momma was "calling him", but the 2nd time he called he said she passed a few months prior

same thing happened to me. My friend sent me and another homie both random cash app requests at the same time. I just ignored that shyt. I used to let him “borrow” money. He’s probably paid back 1/5 of what I’ve given him over the years. And who knows how much we’ve spent in paying for his food when we’ve all gone out.

I honestly don’t know how men can ask other men to borrow money. The only person I’ve ever asked for money was my mama and that was once.
