But, I guess I'm not necessarily defending him, but at the same time I can't condemn him, and throw him under the bus for it.

I'm thinking the issue was really him not knowing his own strength, and not realizing the real damage he was inflicting on his son.

I guess I can kinda understand him not knowing his own strength. He might not have thought he would end up using the same strength he does running people over on his own child.
