Hip hop for decades..more specifically MCing has been one that focused on that glorification of self for the most part

If u are somehow shocked or offended by individuals like Kanye calling themselves geniuses than u havent grown up in hip hop

Its a shocker to these cacs cuz they are not of this culture so they dnt understand..but those of this culture do understand the cockiness that comes from this culture...

Case in point...u expect these nikkaz to be humble..u listening to the wrong genre and ur paying attention to the wrong culture

Get out :camby:

Its not so much about being humble, as much as it is having the skills and content to back up the cockiness. It's about making something to be proud of. It's about not being afraid to not just say you are the best, but prove it and accept challenges. It's about realizing rap is a competitive sport.

Rappers these days aren't even cocky. A lot of em are depressed. J Cole "Let Nas Down". Drake considered the "relationship compromised" and was clearly hurt by Kendrick stating he wanted to be the best rapper on any feature he does with anybody. 2 Chainz is frustrated with the industry. Jay started it all with his "HARK.... MAYBE YOU WILL LOVE ME *puts back of hand forehead* WHEN I FADE TO BLACK". The whole mainstream game is just fukked up right now.

Except for Cole's struggle humble ass fakkit self

most of the names u mentioned preserve what im talm bout

Jay already portrayed the levels of his arrogance and cockiness when he saw himself big enough to dismiss Harry B as a boy
Come at established sports agents when he's only in his first year in the biz
and in many other cases on the album

Drake displayed his arrogance in his responses to control in saying that kdot is not murdering him in any category
And in many songs on the album Drake insinuating himself as the greatest of the generation

Kdot displayed his arrogance when he felt he can put himself side by side with names like Dre, jay, and em and called those who have been in the game longer than him..mere "new nikkaz and dont get involved"

Hip Hop has raised this idea and trait in us

Hip hop has always been a culture where if u felt u were a genius or great or a god you would make it vocal..

These cacs dont understand this culture so it catches them off guard and they get offended

But people who really grew up in this culture and understand it..understand this aspect as well

Again.... Jay has spent a good part of the last 10 years crying about nikkas not loving him enough

Drake's feelings were hurt and he wanted that to be known + the reason why he wouldn't respond

nikkas is p*ssy and fakkits like you want to spin that into cockiness. There is nothing cocky about a song like Reminder or Drake's last Hot 97 interview, youre confused lil nikka

Here comes the bias that you keep sayin u dont have :heh:

why is it that you are sayin that he spent 10 years cryin bout ppl not loving him when the rest of the world will say all his luxury rap is disrespectful to the nation's current economic state
I alrdy told u what Drake's response was and his premise for not responding was that he sees himself too big to respond to a lil nikka..(Thats a position of arrogance)

Reminder is a song where Jay is justifying his arrogance....
Giving justification for ur arrogance isnt humility..
I swear in almost every thread u prove to be an illogical poster that moves on emotion
Every single time I destroy every idiotic post u make yet u still believe the idiocy u be typing :heh:

Are u right in the head nikka? :russ:

Well...u are the same nikka that said that a nikka who's good at biting makes him no longer guilty of it :deadrose:

Get some smarts dumb nikka :childplease:

Reminder is a song where Jay begs nikkas for props

And "a good part" doesnt = the whole thing

Euro Jay def spit a lot of corny hollow South of France raps too

Last decade has pretty much been a waste as far as Jay Z music goes

And Drake's response said nothing about Kendrick being a lil nikka... he tried to blackball dude for huwting his feewings

But speaking objectively with a stan is a worthless endeavor... u got ur attn lil daddeh

Huh?? WHy are u interpreting that song as begging...thats hwo u subjectively took it...nothing objective bout it

Objectively Jay simply ran down all the great things he's done and let it be known..Thats an OBJECTIVE analysis of the song

nikka bringing his take on the quality of Jay's music as if thats the topic..niggga make sense :why:

Objectively Drake aint try to blackball kdot..thats just how u SIBJECTIVELY took it as
OBJECTIVELY what happened was that Drake gave his thoughts on the verse, said it was an ambitious thought but not reality and made the claim that he think it'd be wierd to go back and work with someone who said he'd wanna murder the careers of his peers
Thats what OBJECTIVELY happened....however u took it SUBJECTIVELY keep that to urself

So case in point..u have no real argument except ur emotional rebuttals that lack logic so go away and dnt speak in my threads or quote me till u get some smarts lil niglet :wow:
