I remember when I drove out here winter of '04...same damn scene smh...you’d see a car that had obviously spun out of control and stuck on the side of the road every couple of miles smdh...they made for good reminders tho for me to slow down and take my damn time

There could be 2 inches of snow on the ground and people there will treat it lile it's a blizzard storm, schools get shut down, people forget how to drive, aciddents happen

Its getting icey but VA drivers dont know how to drive in adverse weather. On top of there being a lot of people from countries where drive down 70 degree slopes, it creates the perfect storm

I moved back here in 05 from upstate NY, a place where theyd keep school open in a fukking blizzard. I remember going to school under 20 degree weather with snow reaching almost to my attic.

VA has had 2 million transplants in the last 15 years from all over the country who can't drive and add weather to it and it's a wrap.

Depending on what part of VA you in we don’t get a lot of snow...so people aren’t use to driving in it so the area shuts down

It’s the transplants, don’t blame us DMV locals. Although VA drivers either hella aggressive or on some driving Miss Daisy shyt so it’s all in your luck of the draw I guess.
