Jay Z is a professsional. Time is important to him. He goes to studio sessions prepared with written rhymes and just gets it in one take due to practice of the rhyme. There is no way in hell, he wrote 22' 2's in his head and got that shyt in one take sitting in the studio.. FOH!!!!! Rakim's engineer for Let the Rhythm Hit em said Rakim did the same thing. He said Rakim and Eric B NEVER showed up to the studio while the beats were being made. He said Rakim would show up, get his verses done in one take and leave. Those are his words.
Over the years we've had multiple legends, some who Jay even had beef with at one point another, saying the same thing about his recording process. Knock it off
