I work in real estate and with NYC prices being so high most of my clients are white...not regular Brooklyn white or ethnic white but hipster white.

I was walking some scrawny cac through the border of bed Stuy/East New York. Crazy enough a $1500 2.5 bed now leaves you in the guts of BK.

Passing affordable housing I hear a guy yell out "at least if you're gonna get a white boi, get ya self a good one!"...sooo that deal was ruined.

I hate hipsters as much as anyone else tho. It hurts me even more when a black client of a white hipster agent and I catch eyes in the office only to feel we've been separated.

I've never been but it seems so beautiful from everything I've heard. Crazy how the media paints it vs what people from there say. I want to eventually go to port au prince and Labadee then maybe swing by Cuba. I'm getting a hang of the language still.
