I come from the Blackplanet era where u really couldnt even function on that site if u didnt post ya picture. And u were an automatic lame if u had fake pics. Never understood why someone would have a Myspace page on private. Its called social media for a reason...You're supposed to be socializing. On this site I can understand why a female might not wanna show her face...Too many stalkers and weirdos but if u are a female and lets say u talk hella shyt about someone like Beyonce....U only qualify to talk about Beyonce if u got the balls to show the world ya face. Back in the day in the 2000's Star called it..If u stay anonymous and refused to show ya face its because u got something to hide. Usually it was because u were either a troll or a racist. I remember on AHH all the coolest posters where quick to post their faces like it was nothing. Thats what socializing is all about...Not hiding. Being anonymous on "social media" is not "socializing".....its hiding. And posting a pic of your hand dont count either. Thats weirdo shyt. You hide because you know you will get flamed for your looks and no one will take your words serious. FACTS. And if you on that extra militant bullshyt and you hiding your face..GTFOH. When going to meetings at The School Of Allah or attending a NOI mosque or any type of Black community organization, there's no such thing as being anonymous. The people have to see your face and look u in the eyes. This is why in my encounters with the real "Conscious community" on the outside, the common thread is they don't respect the online "Conscious community."
