That’s the irony. When Black women do this, it’s extremely patronizing. Making it seem like they have to go extra hard to make sure a dark skinned woman is seen as attractive. They don’t even realize how insulting it is.
“How can you not find her attractive? Look at how beautiful she is.” It’s like trying to be extra encouraging to a mentally challenged kid “look at how well he’s using those scissors.”
