What do you like about clubbing? What don't you like about it?

Forget the crowd but more about the atmosphere, the experience, service. I need your insight since my views on clubs have been tainted by a bad experience.

im over clubs. im not old im only 27 but ive been clubbing heavy from like 21-25 and over the last few years im more about bars and lounges now. i like being able to move around at least a little and its easier to talk. plus i like to dress nicer now and people notice it more in those settings in a club its chaos and dark

i notice in the clubs a lot of the guys try to act too hard when they in reality there not gonna do anything at least most of them. i dont really care to grind anymore i used to dance alittle now its like wtf no. and i hate getting drinks at clubs its always so crowded and you have to weed through so many people

I haven't drank or done drugs since I was 21, so my club experience will never be what it really should be for most people, I'm usually sitting at a table all quiet and shy, or at the bar by myself grabbing a water but I've had fun in clubs here and there...it's just so excruciating after awhile, everyone gets belligerent, a bunch of sweaty drunk/drugged out idiots and thats the ones I'm with, the rest are worse...it's cool once in awhile, I've met cool women in clubs occasionally...I used to party in Tijuana when I was 18/19, that was some amazing shyt for that age...thats what the club should be, at a base level. Like dude said it is really shallow, transparent, and temporary, just a mindless escape from the bullshyt, but whats worse, the drinking or the hangover? whatever that Kanye line is.

Clubs are fun but I dont go often. I go clubbing in San Francisco so it cost $20-30 if you arent on the guestlist and come early. Drinks cost like $12

its amazing. if you can dance and look decent... i love clubbing ...

but... it has to be the right place. i go to places where the music selection is random as fukk, and its not just blacks or whites .. its a mix .. thats the trick ...

i'm 26 I got to clubs with friends when they twist my arm about it but as someone else here said I like lounges and bars alot more. It allows you to be more social, plus there's less of a chance you'll spill your drink.

Girls go for the attention


Dudes go to spit at females. The average dude is not trying to chop a female walking down the streets.

Clubs are just an environment to have fun. I don't club like that anymore, I pretty much only go to Art/Media events that you have to be invited too. Plus clubbing is a waste of money.

honestly if you dont have people around you who are actively going to make sure you have a good time... and you yourself arent the type of person who likes to just get twisted and embarass themselves... then going to the club probably aint for you...

i was hard into the club scene for like 4 years.. and the part you really enjoy about it is chillin with your homies and the stories you get...

every person tho, girl or guy... should get too drunk and be in the club atleast a couple times in your life... its a great experience.
