I don't like that term made it. They never sought out mainstream appeal and developed a solid following that allowed them to tour and pay their bills.

They got to make the music they wanted and got to tour worldwide. Double K and Thes seemed to genuinely enjoy their time spent as recording artists. You can hear that shyt in damn near every one of their albums.
