And another thing...stop using the whole "older generations fought and died for us to vote"...spiel.
Did the older generations of black people fight and die for a country that invaded not one, but two countries on false pretense (where were the WMDs?), destabilize their economies and governments to create a military occupation and exploit it for it's vast supplies of oil and poppy fields? And manage to kill almost 1,000,000 people to avenger the deaths of less than 4,000 on 9/11?
Did the older generations of black people fight and die for a country where the police forces killed more unarmed people (who were predominantly black) in 2015 than some countries have in 40+ years?
Did the older generations of black people fight and die for a country where the cops who killed those unarmed civilians get off and receive a nice little gofundme donation purse and get to go on paid leave?
Did the older generations of black people fight and die for a country where...when a natural disaster happened (Katrina), cops, privatized military (blackwater), and white militias took it upon themselves to kill as many black people as they could, blame it on gangs, looting and thugs, and we only found out about it almost a DECADE after it happened?
They would cry if this is what they realized they fought and died for. If they were still alive.
They didn't die for this bullshyt...
