I have an interview for a financial analyst position tomorrow and I don't know none of the shyt they talking about:mjcry:

Can you guys give me some quick tips or beginner talking points for:

Reconciliation, as it pertains to major banks
User licenses
Discrepancies
Market Data Projects
Review and submissions
Anyone with Ariba experience?

I googled all that shyt, but I have a short time to brush up. Last time I did an interview with this bank for a stress analytics position, they asked me if I knew how to build statistical data models and a nikka was like:mjlol:

They keep calling me for jobs that I don't know how to do. I didn't even apply for this shyt. And the shyt I do apply for with them, they never call me about:martin:

you might have to brag your way through the interview and hope when you get the job you actually learn all that stuff

Did that when I interviewed for my Symantec SME position years ago. Literally googled all the shyt the day before the interview and then actually learned it on the job.
Interviews are just a dog and pony show. you just need to be able to bullshyt immaculately for 50- -75 minutes

As for OPs actually dilemma ... sorry I only took basic economics classes

Well as a former accountant bank reconciliations is just making sure there are no major differences between your records and the banks records and if there are to correct them. The rest.......:manny: good luck.
