I have a siberian husky and they are known for this kind of behavior. Especially at young ages.
I had to work wear her out with jogging and dog park visits and discouraging day time naps for her to get the picture.
Crate training goes a long way. Put them in the crate and let them cry it out until they sleep...It worked for me. Now my dog knows that the crate isn't necessarily timeout or punishment it just means its time to chill.
