I'm from the old school SOHH days, and used to mod over there, so I noticed the decline too. I think it's kind of a sign of the culture. People gossip and talk about drama more than they do the music. It's wack.

And exactly! It's crazy to think that we were growing up listening to RZA, Q-Tip, Dre, Pete, and Premier in their prime, all dropping classics at the same time. We were mad spoiled back then!

it is, the culture has completely change and i get that that's just apart of life and change is good, but sometimes, things get lost and forgotten and and that's where we fall and lose sight of our history.

exactly, i hate how gossipy and drama filled shyt has become. it's not even about the music with most so called "fans" of the genre anymore

or i hate how podcasts have become mostly based around "he said/she said" bullshyt that ain't got a thing to do with the MUSIC
