A-Gawd is very good as an analyst.
Some players know the game of baseball very well but it doesn't translate well to television. Al Leiter is like that. Leiter would give this great insight into pitching but it seemed to come off as way too intricate and nerdy for the casual fan. Then again, he was in the booth with Michael Kay....a black hole of trash that swallows everything around him and makes it worse.
Anyway, Alex does a good job. He could be a bit less....
professional. Try to be more off the cuff and fun. But he's always had a "try too hard" personality.
As far as Pete Rose....the dude is a gambling junkie who loves Las Vegas and is 75 years old.
He's Drunk? Dude, it's a miracle he hasn't dropped a few f-bombs. If the Cubs had any Asian players on the roster, Rose would be liable to blurt out "Chinaman" or some shyt.
