The Raiders haven’t done much right on the field lately, but they can apparently move with stealth off the field.
Via our Curtis Crabtree, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell interviewed “the other night” with the Raiders for their vacant head coaching job.
The Raiders have been working the fringes of the assistant coach market so far, having asked for permission to interview Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur, and Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, with Eric Mangini and Tony Sparano also on the list.
Bevell has gotten interest for head coaching jobs before, and might have had a job by now if not for Seattle’s postseason success.

They might just want to get our hopes up and make it seem like they at least tried before they go with Sparano
