The Raiders haven’t done much right on the field lately, but they can apparently move with stealth off the field.

Via our Curtis Crabtree, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell interviewed “the other night” with the Raiders for their vacant head coaching job.

The Raiders have been working the fringes of the assistant coach market so far, having asked for permission to interview Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur, and Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, with Eric Mangini and Tony Sparano also on the list.

Bevell has gotten interest for head coaching jobs before, and might have had a job by now if not for Seattle’s postseason success.

I thought coaches on playoff teams couldn't interview until their squad was out

What you got against him?
some of his playcalling is just really bad, I think russ would do better under a different oc. Doesnt run the ball when he should sometimes. And his route trees are way too simple. Seattle has a bad wr core, but if he was more creative he could do more to get guys open. When he calls a good game, he's on. But a lot of bad too.

Just leave dan quinn alone :damn:
