Petition: Censor nikka on the coli

So I see a lot of drama on the coli. Most people blame the mods. I do not. people choose what content is hot by contributing to it. I don't read or contribute to threads I think are trash.

It's that's simple. don't click it if you don't want to read it. there's no need for another mod, especially one with an agenda who clearly is biased and will show favor to his or her friends.

Again, don't click the link or support the content if you don't want to read it. and if you don't create content stfu, because you're in the stands bytching, but you ain't trying to play.

I can ignore threads I don't want to read but I cannot skip over a comment that contains the word nikka. I say nikka a lot on here. and I've noticed non black posters saying it too. it starts arguments and virtual race wars that are unnecessary. it escalates into homophobia too.

hate speech leads to more hate speech. I'd like the word nikka added to the list of curses on here. It is being used as cover for non blacks to insult black people.

This is a democracy, so I'll include a pole. if enough ACTIVE posters vote in favor of my proposition I'll formally present it to the mods.

From there it's up to them.

I agree, @The Grendel got me thinking about it. If we stop PROMOTING the word when a non black person says it they can't say, "you call each other it" or "I grew up around black people so I can say it."

the COLI isn't real life. If nonblack people use that excuse before, the fact that posters here stopped will change nothing for them. It's not like every nonblack person knows of a hiphop sports and piff forum. This is 1 site and we arent an authoritative black voice. You would need mass censorship across the board and even then nonblacks will come up with another reason why they need the term

If the reason to stop saying it is to incentivise non-black people to stop saying it, you're going about that issue completely wrongly.

If you're reason for censoring it is because you personally feel it degrades black people even when we say it to ourselves, that's a more nuanced conversation that's worth having.

I've always thought that those anti Black women threads were a heaven for non Black posters. They can say slick things about Black women and get away with it.
