history hasn’t shown that at all.

two recent examples are tunisia and south korea, where two authoritarians who were more repressive than trump were eventually ousted under pressure from a mass uprising.

not even hitler would have been able to achieve what he did had he not just secured a popular base of mass support.

and, quiet as it’s kept, a fact the german public is loathe to acknowledge, hitler wouldn’t have seen the public turn against him had he not made the tactical error of warring with the soviet union.

maga is also a lot less intelligent and competent than the nazis, and they don’t control all channels of mass communication the way goebbels’ ministry of propaganda and enlightenment did.

:francis:
Tunisia: Leader only ousted after losing support of the military, if they would of stayed loyal things may have been different. Country is already backsliding into autocracy.

South Korea: President popped shyt and apologized for declaring martial law, rescinding it and being arrested by police. However, the military during that time said they would not stand down unless the president orders them to, so that was not good. Also this really does not have to do with terror.

With Germany you are showing that you do not know what you are talking about: the Gestapo was extremely important in the Nazis' control over the country, crushing groups against them, dealing with people that could of mounted organized resistance or had differing beliefs. Out of the public that supported the Nazis, how many of those were people that knew saying the wrong thing could cause you to get snatched up and "disappear"? How genuine is the public support if not supporting the party would be deadly?

This is an example of "terror": You disagree with your government's handling of an important event. If this was America you could go on social media and say what you feel and keep it moving. In Russia or China doing that will put your life in jeopardy and in knowing that, no matter how angry you are, speaking about it publicly or even privately is likely to be extremely bad for you. In Russia you could be harassed and depending on how notable you are, fall out of a window. In China you could have your social credit go to shyt, causing you economic, social and legal damage and this even before prison.

In North Korea if you do not behave in the "right" way you and possibly your family is being sent to prison (or worse), that type of terror keeps people in line.

Terror absolutely works, there is enough recorded human history to prove that.

Like he gives a fukk at this point

77 million dumb motherfukkers voted him in to clean up financially for himself and leave 6 generations of family members rich while the poor motherfukkers who voted for him still sitting on they farm tractors, rural community front porch with overalls on with a dikk in they ass:dame: waiting on coal mining, steel plants and manufacturing jobs Trump promised to them to start hitting bucktown, usa

I don't think Trump really cares about anyone in his family so I don't think he is motivated to leave them any money when he dies. If he could take all his money with him when he dies he would prefer that than leaving any to his family.
