Im in my first semester Ed.D student, this shyt is not as hard as I thought it would be its just time consuming. This dissertation scares me but I done so much research on the topic I believe ill be ok. Any one have tips for Doctoral students or want to come vent I understand. I have no life anymore every weekend im in front of this computer typing my life away.

Cosign this. If you're going to get a doctorate, might as well go for the PhD. I believe it's a bit longer, but is commands more respect. Unless if it's from a top school like the Ivy League or something.

I can’t switch it, yes my wife has a PhD she told me folks look down on EdD I understand but it’s all good this program fits what I’m doing and my schedule and budget. I’m in the community college leadership program at Morgan state.
I will check out those professional groups. Yeah I’m staying away from these brawds mane. I appreciate the help breh I’m writing a literature review right now. I never learned how to write one so I’m watching YouTube videos but it done look hard.
