Teddy Riley.

Because Pharrell's solo production can't touch all of those classics Teddy cooked up forever. It's like Timbaland said, Teddy changed the sound of music. Dude was on another planet with his sh*t back in the day.

And while we're at it, Timbaland >>>> Pharrell too. The Teddy Riley vs. Timbaland thread actually had merit because its evident Tim changed the sound of music too. Love The Neptunes, they are Top 10 IMO, but I don't see them as the game changers that Teddy Riley and Timbaland are. With Teddy, the change in music can be traced in his work from Guy to Blackstreet.

I was going to say P but I am reading Teddy's appraisals in here and was wondering on his greatest record?

Not named 'No diggity' or 'If you take your love away from me I'll go crazy' that record. Something else because P's got quite a catalogue.

He did "The Show" by Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh. He helmed Michael Jackson's Dangerous album. He helmed Keith Sweat's Make It Last Forever album. That's not even scratching the surface.

Oh wow.

Just wondering on like a personal favorite cut of his? So I can vibe with it.

I was rating P off the sounds and didnt take song writing into consideration. I would have said P's beats slap harder but there's more to it or maybe his beats do not slap harder. I will check 'The Show' with Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh now if you had one record you would say is the top standard of Teddy Riley please drop the title.

My fav P beat is Nore 'Nothin' but I know that Blackstreet 'Crazy' song is much nicer than anything I have heard P on.
