That video was a beautiful tribute. I liked Phife's honesty in his lyrics too, and how he admitted he didn't pull his weight on the first Tribe LP.
One of the things I liked about ATCQ is how they didn't bow down to that 1993 pressure to 'gangsterize' their sound... even Run-DMC made their shyt grittier. Tribe seemed to stay who they were, for the most part; sadly by the last 2 1990s LPs they were diminishing returns. But Phife admitted that, too.
I miss this dude. He should still be here.
